School Visits

I love inspiring students who want to write—and giving them the practical steps and a realistic look at the life of an author.

I’ve spoken in both public schools and Christian schools, elementary grades and high school grades, sharing with students what it’s like to be an author, how I got started, and a look behind the curtain of the mysterious world of publishing. I give them a peek into the life of an author and how each of my books came to be, offering plenty of time for questions as well.

I remember what it was like to be a kid dreaming of writing books but having no idea how to get there. I love to hand kids of all ages the ability to to consider how their dream could one day become a reality.
