Starlit Stories:

Short Tales & Reviews of Magic,

Mischief, and Middle Grade Wonder

I grew up imagining stories of unicorns and fairies as I trapised through the forest and along the riverbanks and rode on the backs of horses—and now I write those stories for little wildlings like my own (though I hope I write with a bit more maturity and grace).

If you and your kids enjoy whimsical stories of made up creatures journeying through unchartered woodlands, twelve-year-olds swinging swords against ancient beasts while also striving to understand their own (sometimes) beastly emotions, these are the stories for you.

In my stories, you’ll never find excessive gore, words and scenes you need to skip over for younger family members. While my stories are intended for tweens and teens, I strive to make them appropriate for the whole family to enjoy.

What to Expect:

Every other week, I share short stories you can read together with your kids—sometimes standalones and other times part of a series.

At the end of every month, I’ll share an update on my own writing projects, including sneak peaks of illustrations and tidbits of worldbuilding, and any upcoming releases or sales you should know about, along with reviews of recent books our family has enjoyed.
